There will be a contemplative worship service every Monday starting from 1 July 2024. The service of silence will last for approximately an hour, starting from 10.00 am.

We will gather to seek God in the absence of words and speech, bringing our needs and desires and leaving them at the foot of the cross. Silent intercessory prayers will be woven into the service, where the Minister will pray for the requests in the prayer basket. Anyone is welcome to accompany the Miniser in prayer if they so wish; there will be no requirement to do so.

The primary purpose of this service will be to bring our whole selves to God, paying particular attention to parts in our lives that we find difficult to articulate, and asking God to hold it all. Contemplative worship is about setting apart a time and space to remind ourselves of the unconditional and unlimited love with which we are loved, so we can see ourselves as God sees us.
